In the winery’s humble beginnings, fruit was harvested from estate vineyards located on former horse and cattle ranches in the hills of Monterey County. Today, Smith & Hook wines are produced from prized family-owned vineyards in warmer Central Coast climates including Paso Robles, Hames Valley, San Antonio Valley, and Arroyo Seco, where Bordeaux varietals thrive. Smith & Hook captures the unfettered spirit of the Central Coast by crafting a portfolio of distinctive red wines known for their signature bold, fruit-driven flavors and robust, well-integrated tannins.
